Tammy Morris

Tammy Morris has been a prTammy Morrisofessional pole dancer for 16 years travelling all over the world to perform. She started as an exotic dancer and moved in to the fitness industry in 200

3. She is a certified Pole and Group Fitness Instructor and is an owner of Tantra Fitness in Vancouver, BC.

She has won over 15 titles over the span of her career including 1st Runner up Miss Pole Dance World and Best Pole Tricks at Miss Pole Dance World. Often seen as a pioneer in the industry it is Tammy’s passion to assist in the evolution of Pole Dancing as a safe acceptable sport for all to enjoy. It is her goal with the association to create a common ground for Pole enthusiasts to come together and share their love of the sport as individuals regardless of what studio they represent.

She would also like to enforce standards by acknowledging those with proper training and education and provide resources for those who want to obtain it.

 

 

 

 

Elisabeth Magalhaes

Elisabeth has been a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor for over 24 years, instructing pole dance for over 11 years and most recently lyra.  Her passion for dance and fitness as a child has now grown into her life long career.

Elisabeth has won various fitness competitions as well as PSO dramatic level 4 masters in 2013.  As a previous studio owner, she has successfully taught many women (and men) the art of pole dance and loves watching her students grow and achieve things they never thought possible.

As a board member and master trainer for the Canadian Pole Fitness Association, she is very committed to the pole and aerial community.  Elisabeth has hosted the 2013, 2014, 2015 and now the 2016 Canadian Pole Fitness Championship

Aryn Savard

Aryn began her active life in many types of competitive athletics.  Her passion for understanding the human body and analyzing movement lead her to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Western Washington University.  It was here she began her 15+ year career in fitness, instructing group fitness and weight lifting classes for the university.  She earned her certification through the American College of Sports Medicine and prenatal training from Healthy Moms Fitness.

Upon moving to Canada, Aryn began teaching group fitness which progressed into directing the group fitness department at Great West Fitness with certification through BCRPA as a Fitness Leader, Group Fitness Instructor, and Personal Trainer.  She then began her own personal training company.  Aryn moved from traditional fitness and pursued her training through Stott Pilates and began teaching Pilates at Terpsicore Studio in Abbotsford.  It was also in Abbotsford that she coached 3 years of senior level competitive cheerleading and trained in gymnastics instruction and spotting safety.

The next step on the fitness road was Pole Fitness!  Aryn began twirling in 2007 and a new passion was born.  Her background and years of experience lead her to create a program that was safe, learnable, and challenging.  She began The Goddess Movement in Abbotsford, BC with a passion for helping women create a strong sense of self while connecting with other women.  Aryn has personally trained and qualified over 15 instructors through her pole fitness program and has a huge passion for the safety, accessibility, and growth of the sport.

Aryn competed in bodybuilding in the early 2000’s giving her great experience in being on stage and understanding the judging process.  She was invited to sit on the panel of judges for Miss Pole Dance Canada and in 2011 was honored to be named head judge.

Aryn was cast in in the sci-fi t.v. show “Caprica” as a cameo pole performer and has been hired by the Inner Ring Professional Circus for numerous public professional pole performances including Smirnoff’s Party Exchange and Whistler’s annual food and wine event, Cornucopia.  Aryn also directs and produces an annual 2-hour aerial arts show made up of performers who are students of the arts as well as professional circus performers, including Jenyne Butterfly.

Along side her pole passion grew an interest for other aerial arts.  Aryn began training at the Vancouver Circus School in aerial hoop and aerial silks.  Aryn has begun the first satellite Vancouver Circus School licensed aerial arts program within The Goddess Movement studio.

Aryn is very excited to be a part of the Canadian Pole Fitness Association and cannot wait to see pole flourish safely and with validity across Canada!

She has worked very hard and now prides herself on maintaining a high technical standard within her studio, encouraging her
students to perform and compete.  She has years of pole training, dance and performance experience and is dedicated in
her efforts to support the entire pole community. She has been a certified CPFA judge for four years, a single mom, instructor,
performer, entrepreneur and has recently joined us as our Public Relations , Sponsorship and Marketing Director.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Michelle Cirullo – Administrator and Promotions

Michelle C-266-EditMichelle Cirullo discovered pole fitness in 2008 while living in Orlando, persuing a career in Forensic Science.
She returned to Canada a few years later and opened Pink Fitness in Moncton, NB in 2011. She is a FitNB Group Fitness Instructor, CPFA certified pole instructor and CPFA certified judge. Introducing new women to pole and training competitors is her true passion.  Michelle organized the 2015 and 2016 East Coast Pole Championship as well as sit on the judging panel of multiple CPFA sanctioned competitions. She hopes to be part of many more competition in the future. She is honored to be a CPFA associate and aims to promote pole throughout Canada.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Katie Cresswell – Aerial Hoop Program Director and Certification Master Trainer

 

k13Katie began her education and training in the circus performing arts at the age of 3 when she first took classes at CircusWest. In her formative years, she entered the elite National Circus School in Montreal, Canada. Katie then went on to study at the Circomedia Centre in Bristol, UK.

Since 1998, Katie has taught and performed throughout North America, and in 2006, pursued her own dream project and founded the Random Acts of Circus. The company became one of the few experimental circus performing acts in Vancouver and had its own production run at Vancouver’s famous Granville Island in 2011.
