Hello, my name is Shannon Marie and I have been pole dancing for one year. I started out on the playground but when I finally got my chance I started training at Brass Angels Pole Dancing and Fitness Studio in 2013. I competed in the Amateur division at the 2013 Ontario Pole Fitness Championship and since then I have been training hard and I have been looking forward to applying again this year. I recently performed at the Vertical Love Showcase and will be competing in the Pole Sport Organization competition in June. Although I was unable to go I was also invited to compete in the Amateur division at the III Pole World Cup at the Arnold Classic in Brazil. I will be pursuing this in 2015. I absolutely love pole fitness because it gives me balance in my life and competing drives me to work harder and always keep improving. I would be honored to compete along side so many wonderful dancers who inspire me every day.
When I’m not dancing I work in the fashion industry. I have a full time position with a designer in Toronto, Philip Sparks as well as my own business designing and creating active wear. It is called FaShan Design and although there is a large focus on custom, pole specific clothing, my services encompass many areas of fashion.
