Mel Love

Mel started dancing with the classic trio of tap, jazz and ballet. At a young age, stretching in front of the television watching the newest Disney movie wasn’t a rare sight. Later, while living in England on a University Exchange, she was approached by a young woman recruiting members for the University of Plymouth Pole Dance student group. The idea thrilled her because it was something new and different and it had been years since she had taken a dance class. Watching the weekly progress, the muscle gain and the weight loss encouraged her every day and suddenly, fitness became a necessity. Even with work, school and the hustle of everyday life, pole dancing remains a private escape and a unique type of inspiration to stay healthy and happy!
